The main download Parser Generator contains pre-built YACC and Lex libraries for Microsoft Visual C++ version 4.00 and later, and Borland C++Builder version 3.00 and later. If you are using the 16-bit version of the Visual C++ compiler then download the libraries above. Similarly, if you are using Borland C++, then download the project file instead. Note that in this case you will need to actually build the YACC and Lex libraries.
The Release Notes contain information about the current release of Parser Generator, plus earlier releases that have taken place. It is not compressed (i.e. it is not zipped up) and it is in Word format. It can be opened by WordPad and other word processors. Note that the file is also included in Parser Generator itself.
